Bring BACnet Devices into a Modbus Network
All three models share identical hardware (the Intesis IN700-485 protocol translator) and run the same MBS-BAC application — the only difference is the licensed data-point capacity. The gateway acts as a BACnet/IP and BACnet MS/TP client to read points from BACnet server devices, and exposes those points to Modbus TCP and Modbus RTU masters. Up to 5 simultaneous Modbus TCP connections, up to 32 Modbus devices per RTU node and up to 255 RTU nodes total. Configured visually using the free Intesis MAPS software — no scripting required.
